Marketing Manager- Social Media

In this position, you will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s online, print and social media strategies. This is a newly created position, one in which you will have a great deal of autonomy and one in which you will be the lead communicator between the Company and the consumer.
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop WOM campaign and work with Social Media companies
2. Oversee all aspects of Company website, including updates of products, videos, web blasts and all other elements to ensure the site is on the leading edge
3. Develop/sponsor a blog and monitor any Company mentions that would require involvement by the Company
4. Work with marketing managers to develop category specific marketing programs
5. Manage any product promotions or sweepstakes
6. Work with sales and graphics to develop all sales collateral to ensure successful sell in of new products and to satisfy any retailer specific needs
7. Serve as the key contact for outside press and the development of press releases as well submitting products for various awards
8. Assist with the advertising and media planning

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant coursework
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, communications and web media.
3. Expertise in all aspects of social media
4. Website oversight and press release creation
5. Experience marketing, branding and promoting consumer products
6. Computer literate with strong knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Photoshop
