Google, Bing Now Index Twitter Tweets

http://www.pcmag.com

Earlier this month, a friend and I were walking along a Manhattan street when we happened upon a dozen camera crews setting up to film outside a building made to look like a hospital. "I'll take Google, you take Twitter," she said, as we raced to see which Internet site would be the first to tell us what was going on.

A Review of HubSpot's New Book: Inbound Marketing

http://www.findandconvert.com

I reviewed the new book Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media and Blogs. Even though I haven't read the book yet, it's a "no-brainer" for me to endorse this book because of the credibility of the co-authors, Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah. The TOC is enough for me. But, I will read it cover to cover.

YouTube Integrates Promoted Videos With AdWords

http://www.techcrunch.com

It's easier to launch a Promoted Video campaign: users will now be able to manage their Promoted Videos directly from the AdWords platform.

AdWords is Google’s bread-and-butter ad platform that plenty of brands and businesses already use to place their ads outside of YouTube, so this will help streamline the purchase process. It’s not all about convenience either — advertisers will also be able to use AdWords campaign tools, which are more robust than what YouTube offers.

How to encourage positive reviews?

Your rating: None

With the growing importance of positive reviews in google local search, I'm wondering how to encourage customers to review us online. We're a dry cleaners that is understandably very local in nature. Looking at other similar businesses in our market along with other markets and after speaking to other dry cleaners, it seems that in our industry people tend to only post online when they are upset, but not as much when they are happy.

I'm wondering if there is a way to encourage more positive reviews on sites like citysearch and yelp.

Thank you!
