Social Media Analytics: Twitter: Quantitative & Qualitative Metrics

http://www.kaushik.net

These new channels, Twitter and Facebook and YouTube and Tumblr and, yes, even blogs, are very distinct customer / participant experiences. Stale marketing or measurement thinking applied to them results in terribly sub optimal results for all involved.

Tracking Twitter clicks

Posted November 30th, 2009 by kurtOCC

As discussed in both the Twitter for Business webinar (by hubspot) and the Inbound Marketing book, one of the important things to do with any marketing channel is tracking the effectiveness for generating traffic, leads and conversions.  I was wondering how people are tracking Twitter traffic back to Twitter.

Tracking Implications of Hubspot Integration with Pre-Existing Website

Posted October 8th, 2009 by optimizerx

Hubspot is very promising, it reminds me of what I used to use back in '99 - '00 while with MarketFirst, only HS has far more practical functionality - especially for SEM and Social Media.

The question I have is recognizing most businesses already have a website with Google Analytics, how have HS partners successfully addressed the tracking visibility issues associated with HS needing to host the pages/content for analytics & Salesforce CRM integration?

Please advise as I'm v-e-r-y interested in moving forward aggressively with Hubspot.

Thanks.

Social Media Monitoring Tools and their use in proving ROI to clients

Posted June 29th, 2009 by Cecilia Pineda Feret

I was wondering if I could hear about what tools to use for proving ROI to clients who are hesitating investing in Social Media for their businesses.

As an independent consultant, how do we access those tools or convince the client that it's worthwhile paying a fee to monitor?

Thanks! Cecilia Pineda Feret

Question on web analytics: Squarespace VS Google Analytics

Posted June 17th, 2009 by Raul Castanon

I recently migrated my blog from Blogger to my own domain with Squarespace. I was using Google Analytics but Squarespace has its own statistics. I am having trouble, however, understanding their analytics feature; it is either too basic (compared with what I get from Google Analytics) or I don't know how to use it.

If anyone has any experience with Squarespace and can provide some advice I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.
