I didn't get all of this stuff at firs but the book explains it all in great depth.

It helped with work on several guitar related websites.  Really cool.

The tips in this book are so practicla as well as effective that you will see results fast. My websites Plant pages really benefited from this.

I thought this was a great book. It was an easy read and had easy to apply ideas for Hubspot clients. I am not sure how this would work if you were not a Hubspot client. The next question from me would be why aren't you a Hubspot client yet? If you apply the book ideas to your hubspot account, your web site will do some amazing things. I have been working in the web for 14+ years and have never seen such great provable results as using  hubspot and the tips discussed in this book. It really seems like a no-brainer to us, get onboard with hubspot, get the book, do what it says and have greater success than you could have imagined possible from your web site.

Lots of marketers and marketing departments are afraid to move from what has worked in the past, even if the results are declining.  Fortunately the authors do more than tell us the world has changed and point out the difference between outbound marketing (sending your sales pitch out to the world) and inbound marketing (bring the world to your door).  They have given us a remarkable guide filled with concrete ideas, manageable individual steps, and specific to-do lists for making dramatic changes in marketing.

The book is divided into four main sections:

Inbound Marketing: Since old “outbound” methods are undermined by overuse and technology that makes it easier for customer to deflect you (Tivo, caller ID, etc), you need to become something that customers seek out by having remarkable, easy-to-find content.

Get Found by Prospects: Use Google and social media to drive prospects to your door.

Converting Customers: The destination (your site) needs to live up to the promise that brought prospects there (how to use calls to action and specialized landing pages).

Make Better Decisions: Look at all of your marketing activities to decide which ones to keep.  Also, which of your marketers to keep (!) Plus there's lots of reassuring information about measurement that can help us choose the most successful methods.

Best. Advice. Ever.  Stack up all of your marketing efforts and drop the two with the lowest yields.  Use the time and money associated with those two activities and devote it to social media.  "Don't dump everything you're doing today." Instead, "try some new things, measure all of your efforts and see who stays and who gets voted off the island."  Reasonable, logical, and remarkable, and it appeals to all of our measurement instincts.  We're not just chasing after the newest shiny object, but making decisions based on data!!

Marketers “adapt or risk extinction!”  While this statement sounds extremist, the authors pose a key and chilling question: if there was a "modern marketing skills grader" how would you stand out?  Some marketers are wringing their hands about new media and how much time to devote to it, but plenty of marketers are trying out the space and finding out how to use it to their advantage.

As a process person, I love the way the book is laid out by the authors: to-do lists at the end of each chapter, tools guides (website grader, RSS, Twitter grader), and practical hands-on tips for new users.   Each chapter includes “Inbound in Action” – real-life examples that illustrate the main points of the chapter and what it looks like in the real world.

I recommend this book for all marketers who want to improve and learn new things.  And, in the process, improve the success of your business.

Thanks guys, it really is a book that every marketer needs because of its simplicity and priceless value! I had to wait for this book so long, because I live in estonia, but this waiting period was worth all of this and now I just cant stop reading it :)
